Tagging Requirements: Immediately after a bird is killed, a turkey tag must be validated and attached to the carcass.  The tag must remain attached as long as the bird is in transit or storage.

 

Noteworthy Restrictions: Only 10% of controlled permits are issued to non-residents.  A holder of a controlled hunt tag for turkey may designate that tag to
the holders child or grandchild (under the age of 18) who is otherwise qualified to participate in the hunt. Legal hunting hours end at sunset.  Unlawful to take a turkey from any watercraft.
