Illegal to call to or attempt to call turkeys on all WMAs from March 1st to opening day.  Only one jake can be taken per season.  To be classified as an adult, gobbler must have one of the following: beard longer than 6 inches, tail feathers all the same length, wing feathers with white barring all the way to the tip, or a spur that is at least 1/2 inch long. Turkeys may not be shot or stalked from a boat in Dyer, Haywood, Lauderdale, Obion, Shelby, or Tipton counties. Fanning or reaping turkeys on WMAs is prohibited.
