Tagging Instructions: You must tag your turkey immediately after taking possession of it.  Remove the tag from the permit, notch it on the correct date, and securely fasten it to the carcass.

 

Noteworthy Restrictions: Anyone born after Dec. 31 1965 must have proof of hunter education before you can obtain a hunting license.  Both head and beard must remain attached to the turkey while transporting it.  Any shotgun using #BB shot or smaller is legal.  You may not carry a loaded shotgun or rifle in a vehicle.  Baiting is illegal but areas where seeds or grains have been scattered as part of a normal agricultural practice may be hunted.  You may not take a turkey that is in a tree.
