Tagging Instructions: All harvested turkeys must be registered either online gamereg.wi.govor by phone at 844-426-3734 (844-GAME-REG) by 5 p.m. on the day after recovery. Hunters will need to use their authorization number to registe ra turkey. No in-person registration stations areavailable. Hunters will be given a harvest registration confirmation number for their records when registration is complete.
Noteworthy Restrictions: It is illegal to posses a firearm, bow, or crossbow during the spring turkey season without possessing a turkey hunting license, stamp, and valid unused harvest authorization if you or a member of your hunting party posses a turkey decoy or calling device while afield. No license is required to assist other hunters as long as you don’t possess a weapon. However a guide license is required if a fee is charged.

Remaining harvest authorizations will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Each zone will have a designated sales date with sales starting at 10:00 a.m. and running through midnight each day. These sales will be held for five consecutive days with customers able to purchase one harvest authorization per day. Remaining harvest authorization for all zones will go on sale on the sixth day (one per day).
